The spaghetti tour on skis. Several 4000 metre peaks in the Monte Rosa massif, breathtaking ascents and unique ski descents!
The highlight of this tour is spending a whole week travelling in the gigantic high mountain world. You will be travelling on jagged glaciers and experience several 4000 metre mountains. You cross the Monte Rosa massif from hut to hut, the descents and ascents are breathtaking and unique. Skiing at this altitude at this time of year is still great! Snow always falls at this altitude in early summer, it's definitely better on skis than on foot 😉
The Spaghetti Tour on touring skis is an impressive week of ski mountaineering. You cross several 4,000 metre peaks on huge glaciers in a really cool atmosphere. You start from Zermatt along the Swiss-Italian border and experience the high mountains to the full in 5 days. You spend the night in Italian huts with primi and secondi, which is where the name "Spaghetti Tour" comes from. This tour is rightly popular. It leads past the highest mountains in Switzerland and the glacier landscape is simply gigantic. On the last day, depending on the snow conditions, we take the cable car from unta Indren (3258m) down into the valley and take a taxi to Domodossola or, if there is still enough snow, past the Monte Rosa hut to the Riffelberg mountain station.
Meeting point is at 9.15 a.m. right at the Zermatt train station.
