During this climbing coaching in Lecco, we work with you on your climbing level. After a few metres of climbing, we can define your strengths and weaknesses, to which we respond with individual and specific exercises. We know the climbing areas we visit well and choose the right routes for you, so you are guaranteed to have great experiences and can look forward to wonderful climbing routes. We climb short multi-pitch routes as well as in sport climbing gardens. Of course, we support you in rope handling and belaying so that you feel safe and make progress.

The communal experience is of course a must, we enjoy our time together and will certainly have a lot of fun. In the evenings, we will indulge in the usual Italian cuisine, tell each other stories and enjoy pizza and pasta together.

Lecco and the surrounding area offer us countless possibilities, the grippy limestone, the countless climbing routes and the climate invite us to enjoy a unique climbing experience. We look forward to adventures together in the Mediterranean town of Lecco.

  • Content and procedure

    Climbing coaching content:

We can enjoy climbing in many different ways, if we continue to develop, stay motivated and can enjoy this sport and this unique form of exercise for a long time.

We are convinced that we will all be able to change our movements while climbing so that we can enjoy it even more or, if desired, climb more challenging routes, or what is your goal?

For this reason, we work individually on your skills. We guarantee that you are already doing an incredible amount of things right, we just have to change the little things to get closer to your goal. We organise the days in a goal-oriented way so that you feel comfortable. We don't put any pressure on you, we don't stress you out and we don't have any unspoken expectations of you. Take part, do what you can and let us bring the rest to you and together we will get further!

Climbing is based on three different pillars, all those who have already participated in one of our climbing trainings should know these pillars. Each one is equally important and our climbing level is supported by these pillars. If one is too weak, we won't get any further and must first strengthen the weaker ones individually and specifically.

    Procedure:

    Day 1:

During the journey, we have enough time to get to know each other on a personal level. We talk about climbing, fear and everything else that influences climbing.

On the way to Lecco, we visit our first climbing garden and go climbing. But first the Bergschaft team watches and collects information. We take notes, observe you and climb the same routes as you. This allows us to assess your movement sequences, your index and your strength, which is our foundation for the coming days!

In the evening we will give you theoretical input and discuss the coming day together. What are your needs, where do we want to climb and how do we organise the coming days.

    Day 2:

Now it's really starting! We change, work and get a lot worse for a short time. All the technical exercises, the practical strength exercises in a supposedly easy climbing route quickly make you tired. Be it on a short multi-pitch route or in the sports climbing garden. But that's exactly what should happen, new forms of movement, new muscle loads and learning make you tired and can be frustrating. Nevertheless, in the evening you will be full of joy about this eventful day and somehow you will feel that you are making progress!

    Day 3:

We apply what we have learnt and try to overwrite old patterns, with lots of repetition, fun and the joy of success. In the evening we have enough time to discuss your goals and dream tours. What are your possibilities and what would be a goal (SMART) that you could define for yourself? We will support you and define a goal according to the SMART method.

    Day 4:

The last day of climbing coaching we want to enjoy and finalise what has not yet been completed. We cater to your needs and organise the day with a great climbing tour and the return journey!
